These are extremely well-written books. Alex Delaware (for all his sometimes-hard-to-believe altruism) takes on a reality few characters can claim. Gifted and compassionate, Kellerman still manages to maintain the reality level if only because, with all his gifts, Delaware still has problems figuring out the women in his life. I can seldom tear myself away from one of these books when I get started, but trust me - you don't want to start reading just before you go to bed - you'll be afraid to close your eyes!
