"I thought this was well written and entirely plausible, with some
interesting material. However, I was put off by the unlikely affair, the
lack of warmth in the characters, and an expression of views on the issue of
immigration (whether or not this is the author's own opinion - I'm not sure)
that I couldn't share, and this stopped me enjoying the book more. I'd
probably try another as I didn't think it was dreadful, but it could be
quite a while." - Luci Davin - RAM | |
