@vicki was born in "tornado alley" in a
college town and the silly tornados have been following her
around most of her life, one way and another. she moved with her
family to California at the age of 11, and except for odd trips,
has remained there, feeling at home with the "nuts".
@vicki hopes, one day within a few years, to suffer from
"empty nest syndrome", after having raised three
children. she recently remarried after 10 years of being a
single mom to a wonderful mate who is absolutely her
"other-half". she just wishes she had found him years
ago, when she was MUCH younger.
a bookaholic by nature, she reads voraciously, maintains the
database at this web site: http://www.booksnbytes.com along with
her mate, who does the necessary programming. she USED to be a
secretary, but the stress finally got to her, and she now works
from home.
"jill-of-all-trades", she enjoys bird-watching out her
window, all kinds of needle-crafts and jewelry making, but is
usually to be found in front of her glowing computer screen. she
collects dogs, cats, parakeets, a dragon and an alligator, and
is now searching for a house to rent or own to keep said
menagerie. @vicki has lived on ranches, in cities, in suburbs
and in trailers. she much prefers the country life, and is
seeking to return to it asap. |
