Ila and her better half live in an old stone house
along with a dog, a cat, several chipmunks, a saucy squirrel and
a muskrat family [not *all* in the house...]. A mild-mannered
University staffer by day, at night she produces, stage manages,
and acts as general gofer for a local Murder Mystery Dinner
Theatre company. While possessing absolutely no athletic
abilities herself, she greatly respects and admires those who do
and is thrilled that this is an Olympic year. Also known as
"The Infernal Optimist", Ila has been a loyal, though
emotionally bruised, fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs for 40 years
and has been known to arrange her life around Hockey Night in
Canada broadcasts. In her spare time, Ila enjoys reading,
chocolate [you can never have too much chocolate], and cross
stitching. |
