sue k has spent her life surrounded by books. at age
11 she told her mother that her 6 year old brother did not read
enough. born in chicago, raised in minneapolis, ventured to iowa,
colorado and ended up back in iowa. a true child of the 70's she
enjoyed all of the illicit pleasures that decade brought us. her
first bookstore job was at 16 and years later is still doing the
same thing. at a high school reunion she was told she was lucky
to find her calling early in life.
sue k is married with a five year old son who has now been in
kindergarten for 2 days. sue k was a nervous wreck, her son
handled it much better. an avid sports fan she believes she is
allowed two pro teams in each sport provided they are from
different leagues or conferences. if the 2 team ever meet, she
will always cheer for the one from minnesota.
sue k likes to garden but it always looks like shit when it gets
too hot, for being a minnesotan cannot stand the heat except in
february when she gets on a plane to fly to mexico. |
