While I rarely read police type mysteries, this first in a series featuring Evan Evans police constable in a small village in north Wales is wonderful.
The village of Llanfair and its inhabitants are charming, Evan is a sweetie and every single gal under 30 has set her cap for him. For all the whimsical and cozy charm of this book, the plot is multi-layered but the clues are in plain sight. I didn't quite get them put together before the sleuth did.
