Reading Steve Brewerıs books is like eating peanuts. You finish one and youıre ready to scarf down another. These are quick, easy and amusing reads.

Odd things are occurring at the Albuquerque Zoo. It begins with a data processing worker wanting to hire Bubba Mabry to check the high death rate among animals there. Bubba doesnıt expect his almost client to be gunned down by someone in a gorilla suit right before his eyes. The manıs girlfriend hires Bubba to find his killer, landing Mabry in trouble with various zoo employees, the girlıs father, the police and his own wife. The puzzle is finally solved and Mabry saved with the help of others including his feisty wife. You are bound to end the story with a smile on your face.
