Membership in the Funfun Club is not so "Funfun" for the original members is what New York Detective Bill Reardon learns as he begins to search for one of its members. He finds him dead, and his wealth has been stolen. Detective Reardon usually works homicides, but since he is on medical leave, he takes the private missing person case. As he gets into the case he finds that it is a homicide case that takes him to New England and information from Naples, Florida. In fact, there are several homicides, with the potential for more. Someone is committing murder and siphoning the wealth into international accounts. Detective Reardon has to use all of his resources in the department, some in the state police department and a contact in Florida to capture the person who is destroying the “Funfun Club” members.

I really enjoyed George Crosby's "The Funfun Club." It was exciting, with a realistic storyline. The action kept moving, so you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. Also, most of the characters seemed down-to-earth, like people you'd meet or have met.

Warning if you love Asian food, you will be hungry for it as you read this book! I was!

Good book. Will we see more of Detective Bill Reardon?
