Bond enforcement agent Stephanie Plum has a new man in her life. Bob has a golden aura with deep soulful brown eyes and is the most loyal devoted individual anyone can find. This canine is a delightful companion to Stephanie, perhaps more so than police officer Joe Morelli or fellow bounty hunter Ranger.

Stephanie’s professional life is crazier than ever. She chases after a homicidal bail jumper while struggling with a friend contemplating suicide rather than jail. On top of all that she must keep Joe and his peers, her own peers, and several angry criminals away from Ranger, who everyone seems to want to question about a recent murder.

No one can create a humorous action-packed romantic mystery as well as Janet Evanovich can. The author is a master of characterization, who can turn homicidal maniacs into likable, but believable people. Recurring cast members augment the current tale while bringing a feel of déjà vu and a sense of New Jersey to the audience. Series fans will love HOT SIX giving it the high five with an elbowed twist while first time readers will delightfully feel they have pulled out a juicy plum.
