HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAY was an excellent collection of fourteen short stories that displayed reverence and esteem towards Doyle and his detective. Now a sequel, MORE HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS, is being released that is as good as the debut tales. In some respects, it is even better than the original.
Eleven authors have contributed a brand new tale that is imbued with the high esteem most writers and fans hold for Mr. Holmes. The contributors are a virtual who’s who, but not just of mystery as fantasy writer Tanith Lee puts her twist on one of the tales. Novelists like Anne Perry, Peter Lovesey, Barbara Paul, Loren D. Estleman, Carolyn Wheat, Jon L. Been, and Bill Crider have written wonderful tales. Short fiction authors like Edward D. Hoch and L.B. Greenwood, and Doyle biographer Daniel Stashower have also included fabulous tales. Fans of Holmes have a holiday treat as a group of modern writers venerates the master with winning stories that Mr. Doyle would have enjoyed
