Since the beginning of time evil’s prime objective is to destroy goodness so Armageddon can signal the end. Though millenniums have passed, a secret organization, The Legacy, formed vowing to contain the forces of the dark. The membership varies.

Legacy member Alexandra Moreau and her friend Holly Brown accompanied by her son Evan visit Plymouth Rock on Thanksgiving. They observe an enjoyable tourist attraction turn into a terrorist attack leading to the death of almost twenty innocent people and scores more being hospitalized. Evan is part of the body count. While recuperating in the hospital, the ghost of Evan visits Holly. He demands she kills Hunter, the militia leader who masterminded the assault. Alex thinks her friend might suffer from grief causing delusions. However, she also might be the conduit for the latest confrontation between evil and good.

THE HIDDEN SAINT captures the essence of the underlying theme and characterization of the TV series that it reflects. Well-known writer Rick Hautala terrorizes his audience with the eternal war between good and evil occurring at an innocent popular tourist spot. When good wins a battle, they just prepare for the next fight. If evil wins, all hell breaks loose. Readers will want to read about the next battle as soon as possible.
