Valek is an evil leader who has figured out how to capture human souls and make them slaves. Once he does this, they are no longer able to taste, feel or love and are destined to a life of misery until death or escape which is quite rare.

Sarah is one of Valek’s slaves who manages to escape her cage and is reincarnated into the flesh. She flees through the Allerton Circle to the Ice Planet, Veloris, with the help of a knight named Marion. She soon settles into life in the Minister Knight of the Souls’ Castle only to find out that an Oracle predicts the saving of the remaining souls, including her sister who got recaptured during their escape, the destruction of Valek and the restoration of peace between Earth 3012 and Saturn Four. Sarah must decide whether she believes in the Oracle and decide whether to help free the remaining souls at the risk of being returned to the soul cages herself.

This book was a combination of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Romance. Although not my usual choice of reading, I did enjoy it and it was a quick read for something different.
