Raven embraces the Navaho part of her heritage while rejecting the Anglo component of her blood that comes from her estranged father. She plans to marry a Navaho and doesn’t even date any Anglos yet when she is summoned to a different time and place, she finds herself attracted to the son and heir of the castle Tristan Sanct Joliet. Tris was wishing for a woman like Raven and the invisible dragon ring on his finger plucked her out of the future and brought her to his era.

At first, Raven, a veterinarian doesn’t believe she’s in another time and place when dragons existed taking human form while sorcerers and witches practiced magic. When confronted by the living conditions, Raven is forced to accept her new reality and comes to care for Tris and he for her. Their path to happiness is not an easy one because Marek, an evil sorcerer wants Tris’ ring and he must kill him before it can be removed from his finger.

Dolly Lien has written a wondrous tale filled with gallant knights, evil wizards, and a woman from the future who has the strength to make a place for herself as a stranger in a strange world. The hero and heroine are endearing characters and the story line is magical. ON WINGS OF TIME is a beautiful story that readers will cherish.
