The Billionaire Boys Club, consisting of four of Wall Street’s most prominent figures, is the target of a man set on revenge. He feels the group let him down when he was accused of inside trading. After he was sent to prison one of the Boys Club married the woman that he loved. He has determined that they all must die. To accomplish this he has hired a radical group called The Vampyrs to get the job done.

Karen Glick is a reporter with a strong desire to become an investigative reporter like her friend Frank Vere. Karen is recently divorced and has moved from a high rent co-op to occupy one of the many apartments owned by her grandmother. Karen receives an anonymous box of documents. These documents, if authenticate, can prove The Billionaire Boys Club haven’t been paying their taxes.

When Karen tries to authenticate the documents and obtain interviews with the club members she finds herself in danger and at times has to turn to her high school boxing skills to fight her way out.

Karen seems to find herself in the center of the action most of the time. Karen’s grandmother’s ability to do instant anagrams adds some humor to the story.
