Ashley Spencer, a popular high school soccer star, seems to be destined to live a life filled with terror and suspicions from the moment an intruder enters her home and attacks her best friend and her father. In an attempt to help her daughter get back into a normal life her mother encourages her to accept a scholarship to the Oregon Academy, an elite private school. School dean Casey Van Meter has extended the scholarship to her. When tragedy strikes again at the school Ashley fears for her life and runs away to Europe. Only one person knows her whereabouts and that is her attorney.

The story of Ashley’s life and the reasons behind the tragedy makes for a book that is hard to lay down until it is finished. To say any more would give away all the surprises that await you when you read this thriller.
