Tracy Eaton. Daughter of wacky movie stars. Author. Married to a stuffed shirt from New York.

Tracy and husband, Drew, head for NYC for Drew's sister's wedding. Not a problem, as long as she can keep her mother and mother-in-law on different continents. But the day after Tracy and Drew arrive in New York, Marisa, the bride-to-be, disappears . . . and none of Tracy's in-laws wants to notify the police OR look for her. Detective wannabe Tracy to the rescue! And from the loveable con-man uncle, to the bridegroom who rides around in gangster limousines, to the fading ballerina, not to mention her in-laws and suddenly secretive husband, Tracy has her hands full.

A debut novel for Neri, one reviewer called it "I Love Lucy meets Murder, She Wrote", and she couldn't be more right. Tracy has more ways of falling into trouble, AND more excuses, than most people. This is a light, zany read for the light-at-heart. More humor is a GOOD thing. The comments from Tracy make me want to know WHY her mother gave her mother-in-law a black eye at Tracy's wedding, and of course, what she is going to fall into next. Look for the next installment from Kris Neri. She is developing a delightful character, and I am looking forward to finding out more.
