Teams of two speed from one exotic destination to another, searching for odd objects and deciphering cryptic clues. Trailing along are cameramen, sound recorders, and production staff. Waiting at every destination is an acidic host who may or may not be trying to make the competitors look foolish.

Clearly based on the current flood of reality TV shows based in exotic locales with ordinary people thrust into extraordinary situations, LOST AND FOUND focuses on several of the teams, the secrets they keep from each other and the TV production staff. More than one competitor still has a long way to travel to reach a healthy self awareness. With everyone very aware they have not control over what part of the recorded footage will actually reach the final broadcast, everyone involved jockeys to provide a good impression, to safeguard potentially destructive secrets, and to make the best possible use of the mythical "fifteen minutes of fame."

Parkhurst has several shrewd observations about the cult of celebrity and serves up a very enjoyable story while she is at it!
