Jack Payne
Class/Genre:   Mystery   Thriller
Impact Books, Dec 2004, 304 pages

Steve Draves is a man with secrets, while appearing to be a regular guy with a family and a place in his communnity, he is also a conman. He seems to be keeping a nice balance between these two lives until he gets mixed up with a Mob guy and his daughter. And as these things tend to do, this is when things get interesting, for the reader at least.

Great story with a great natural rhythem this book reads fast. It is also very entertaining to read about what could be considered legal crimes. And with Payne's background, the experience to write about it is there. It's fiction, but could very well be based on fact.
