This return to the small town Virginia of Stanley Waters and his B&B was another delightful visit. Disaster comes to Stanley's national publicity campaign for his recently opened Blue Skies B&B when the network TV morning show he used to work for comes to film a civil war reenactment, and one of the actors is shot during the mock battle. Once again Stanley bumbles through an investigation and renewed courting of his highschool sweetheart the current town sheriff. Along the way we learn a lot of Stanleys hometown and its inhabitants in the present and in the past. Its a bit like a visit to Mayberry, warm, fuzzy, and fun. I really enjoyed the civil war reenactment theme.
