Tucker Sinclair gets drawn into clearing up an apartment after Evan Brice is killed. Ten years earlier Evan had dumped her to marry her best friend Cissy. Now police suspect Cissy of the crime.

Dealing with a flakey mother and her boyfriend and dog, as well as a neurotic ex-coworker complicates Tucker¹s life. Still she manages eventually to put together enough clues to uncover the murderer.

Smiley writes an adequate cozy. I didn¹t find as much humor as I expected but the ending did bring a smile.
