Former President Bush and the current Vice President fly home from Kuwait after a disappointing trip in which Saddam Hussein was the focus. However, disaster strikes as Air Force One crashes in Horry County in the Carolina hills. The subsequent investigation is a shocker as everyone on board the jet, including the former president, was determined to be already dead before the crash. An unknown virus appears to have been the cause of death.
The policy of the United States is to swiftly retaliate against acts of terrorism. Their target is an alleged biological weapons lab in the Iraqi desert. The Air Force assigns its top gun, Captain Charlie McKay to lead the mission on Hussein's latest weapons violation. However, revenge may come swift, but the biological weapon used on Air Force One only needs an aerosol can to trigger it and DC is such an inviting target.
A new techno-star has rapidly risen to the top of the thriller genre. Chris Stewart scribes a plausible, action-packed spine tingler of a novel that will leave readers never looking at their shaving cream or deodorant cans in the same manner. The story line is incredibly good and the characters are all first rate. Fans of the techno-thriller need to read THE KILL BOX and Mr. Stewart's previous novel, SHATTERED BONE, for two of the best novels in years.
