Living Proof is a great beach read. Written by Illinois author Peter Thompson and released as a Paper Back Original this book came as a pleasant surprise to this reviewer. Thriller Plus you might say. In the Texas desert the army experiments with bio-hazardous chemicals on human rats. It is a conspiracy of unbelievable depth. Chris Carter wouldn’t have asked us to suspend our disbelief this much (wait a minute, he would have).

From the opening moments of LIVING PROOF Thompson grabs you. Wrongly convicted and on death row Ramon Willis is about to find out there is a fate worse than death. Reporter Lena Dryer is about to find out that sniffing out the best story of her career may not be all it’s cracked up to be. And with author Thompson’s pen guiding our imagination we’re going to set sail to that wonderful place that only a well written thriller can take us.

Sip some Ice Tea or a Corona. Pick up the book. Enjoy.
