I had already bought her first book, Brethren, and had totally enjoyed the wonderful Templar story. Robyn Young certainly does her homework and it really shows. Most of her timelines are right on. So when I was handed Crusade to review, it was a real “YEE HAW” moment !! Will Campbell is a great character with all the flaws we recognize today, and with all the conflicts of church vs life as it is lived everyday. He works hard to resolve his feelings for Elwen and his daughter Rose, who he cannot formally recognize and his vows to the Templars. He has old friendships gone wrong and new leaderships he knows are not what is needed to keep the peace in the Holy Land.

I am going out to find the third in this series as soon as possible, Requiem looks to be just as good as the other two !!
