David and I met because of our love of her books, and the philosophy we share with them. Even a "so-so" Mercedes Lackey book is better than many other "bests". How to read her series? The author herself recommends reading them in the order written. They were NOT written chronologically. Copyright dates are included with book titles to make it easier to read them as she wrote them. Which series all tie together? Personally, I also love the Diana Tregard series, The Serrated Edge series, and Bardic Voices. And by all means, don't forget her "stand-alones".
