Bryan Stevenson

Bryan Stevenson is the American lawyer and civil-rights advocate behind Just Mercy (2014), the founder and executive director of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Alabama, and the founder of the National Memorial for Peace and Justice. Stevenson has argued and won multiple cases before the U.S. Supreme Court including the 2012 Miller v. Alabama decision that ended mandatory life-without-parole sentences for juveniles.
