Claire Keegan is the Irish novelist behind Antarctica (1999), Walk the Blue Fields (2007), Foster (2010), Small Things Like These (2021, Booker Prize shortlist), and So Late in the Day (2023). Keegan is one of the canonical contemporary Irish short-form literary novelists of her generation.
