Douglas Stuart is the Scottish-American novelist behind Shuggie Bain (2020, Booker Prize) and Young Mungo (2022). Shuggie Bain made Stuart the second Scottish writer ever to win the Booker (after James Kelman). Stuart spent twenty years in the New York fashion industry before turning to fiction full-time.
