James Haller
James Haller (1935-2023) was the American chef who founded the Blue Strawbery restaurant in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1970 and wrote a series of well-loved culinary memoirs (Another Blue Strawbery, Vie de France, Cooking in the Shaker Spirit). His Loire Valley summer memoir Vie de France remains his most-read.
