Jenny Erpenbeck is the German novelist behind Kairos (2021, English 2023, International Booker Prize 2024), Go Went Gone (2015, English 2017), The End of Days (2012, English 2014), and Visitation (2008, English 2010). Erpenbeck won the 2024 International Booker for Kairos, becoming the first German writer to win since the prize launched in its current form.
