Jerome Doolittle (1933-2015) was the American crime writer and former speechwriter for Jimmy Carter whose Tom Bethany Cambridge PI series (Body Scissors, Bear Hug, Half Nelson) ran ten entries and is one of the more underread legal-and-political PI series of its era.
