Jonathan Haidt is the American social psychologist and NYU Stern professor behind The Anxious Generation (2024), The Coddling of the American Mind (2018, with Greg Lukianoff), The Righteous Mind (2012), and The Happiness Hypothesis (2006). The Anxious Generation became the most-cited contemporary book on the smartphone-era youth mental-health crisis.
