Maggie O'Farrell is the Northern Irish novelist behind Hamnet (2020, Women's Prize), The Marriage Portrait (2022), This Must Be the Place (2016), and the memoir I Am, I Am, I Am (2017). Hamnet is the canonical contemporary historical novel about Shakespeare's family and one of the most celebrated literary novels of the 2020s.
