Nita Prose is the Canadian novelist behind The Maid (2022) and The Mystery Guest (2023). The Maid was the breakout literary commercial mystery of 2022, a New York Times bestseller for over a year, and the basis for the forthcoming Universal Pictures Florence Pugh film adaptation. Prose worked for twenty years as an editor at Simon and Schuster Canada before turning to her own fiction.
