Olga Tokarczuk is the Polish novelist behind The Books of Jacob (2014, English 2021), Flights (2007, English 2017, International Booker Prize 2018), Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead (2009, English 2018), and Primeval and Other Times (1996). Tokarczuk won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2018 (awarded in 2019).
