Author

Rita Mae Brown

Rita Mae Brown wrote Rubyfruit Jungle in 1973, which alone earned her a permanent spot in American literary history. She also writes the long-running Sneaky Pie Brown cat mystery series, several standalones, and one of the best fox-hunting-Virginia novels going (Outfoxed). Sharp-tongued in interviews, sharp-tongued on the page.
