Salman Rushdie

Salman Rushdie is the British-Indian novelist behind Midnight's Children (1981, Booker Prize), The Satanic Verses (1988), Haroun and the Sea of Stories (1990), The Moor's Last Sigh (1995), Victory City (2023), and the memoir Knife (2024). Rushdie was knighted in 2007 and has won the Booker Prize and Booker of Bookers.
