Samantha Harvey is the British novelist behind Orbital (2023, Booker Prize 2024), The Western Wind (2018), The Shapeless Unease (2020), Dear Thief (2014), and The Wilderness (2009). Orbital made Harvey one of the shortest Booker winners (a 136-page novel) and the first British woman to win the Booker since Bernardine Evaristo in 2019.
