Out of Sight is the kind of Cherry Adair T-FLAC novel that her readers know exactly how to read. Operative goes dark on an undercover assignment, civilian woman gets entangled because of a family connection, the operation goes sideways at the worst possible moment, and the romance has time to heat up while bullets are still in flight.
Adair handles the form with the relaxed confidence of someone who has done this many times. The international setting is well-used. The action choreography is reliable. The romance has the heat the form requires.
Four stars. A satisfying mid-series T-FLAC. Best read alongside other Adair novels rather than as a standalone.
